7/2/04 - Day Lily Zoom

Multiple exposure. Camera on tripod; zoom out in six steps while keeping the center orange lily in a fixed position.
Almost went with this image instead - http://www.pbase.com/image/30848062

other sizes: small medium original auto

All it takes is a goo tripod and head. Lock the focus on the center of interest and then repeat - shoot, zoom, shoot, zoom, .... Open the resulting multiple exposures in PS and combine via layers and opacity adjustments.

That looks really difficult to do. The other image is very good as well.

Very creative although I think i would have popped the contrast just a teeny bit for more depth. I cannot imagine being able to do this.. keeping the center centered. As I said very creative. I like your "reject" very much because of the difference in colors between the background and the flower.. unusual and that is a goooood thing.
