The latest in my love affair with country roads. Taken on a nice foggy morning shortly before sunrise. The location is Glady Road, about 12 miles east of Elkins, WV, at the foot of the driveway (behind me) of the house we rented for a week of leaf peeping. Standing with my tripod in an inch or two (or 3) of water that is home to the cattails in the foreground. Turned out to be a great morning for photography until the fog burned off.
Mood, leading lines, foreground interest, a red/orange/warm destination for the eye - the things that I look to see in making an image.
