A quick visit to Pakistan taking in Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, as well as some hot weather and a great many curious glances from folk who seemed rather surprised to see a "western" face. Pleasantly surprised in most cases, I might add, but there were also rather a few grumpy looking so-and-so's.

I reiterate that it was an incredibly short and busy trip and I'm sure that had time and opportunity allowed, then I might have been lucky enough to see rather more local culture, local exhibits, areas of outstanding natural beauty etc. As it is, though, this is hardly indicative of Pakistan, for which I apologise.
