More CC for you Nick. Try getting rid of the bits of wall at the bottom - I don't think they add anything and detract from the photo. I can't get my head (or eyes) round the straight lines here - the shoreline leans up from L to R, the hill tops go up L to R too, but less so....but the shoulders of the hills point down to the centre of the image. My instinct would be to make the shoreline the true horizontal, even if in reality it looked as it does in the photo. Also, as Pegwell Hotel, I think this photo is too horizontal in its composition - try a portrait crop and see how that works. Lastly, maybe a bit of a curve and some levels adjustment to bring out the contrasts would give it more bite.
