Louvre Elevator Lift

Louvre, Paris

Looking down at the Louvre's open-top lift (elevator). In operation the lift rises
on a column to transport passengers up and down.

Irena, this is the only elevator of its type that we saw in Paris, but our visit did not allow time to tour the La Defense business district, which has quite a bit of extraordinary architecture, so who knows? Sorry, I have no recommendations on elevators.

Here is the Louvre elevator in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcFeJWJjIXc

Wow, that's quite the elevator! Are there a lot of European elevators like this? Something like this would look awesome in my own business building. Then again, maybe a more traditional look would suit us better. What do you think? http://www.fortelifts.com.au/products/elevators

An excellent and interesting composition. I love the way you captured the spiral and the 'disembodied' people. -V-
