Gulf Hammock Rat Snake (Intergrade)

The Nature Coast

Considered by some to be a distinct subspecies, others recognize it as an intergrade between the
Gray Rat Snake, on the panhandle side, and the Yellow Rat Snake, on
the peninsular side. They may be marked differently, however most
have the blotches like the Gray Rat Snake and some striping like the
Yellow Rat Snake.

just had a question about a snake that i saw when doing landscaping. This snake was orange and beige striped ,no black he was slithering down a palm small about a foot long as thick as your thumb the stripes were rings around didnt look like his belly was ringed a solid beige..
