I flew on this mission and was shot down. March 16, 1945. 49th squadron, 2nd
Bomb Group, Misssion 379 from Amendola.
I have a bombstrike photo very similar to this one. I was the group lead plane. I
have photos of my downed plane in Sasd, Hungary.
