For this year this camera was taken apart and some cleaning and a bit of lubrication done. With the lenses in the viewfinder and rangefinder cleaned, as well as the rangefinder mirrors, one can actually see through them! (They're still pretty tiny by modern standards, but we made do.)

For Argust 7th, Ye Olde Photographer visited a couple of spots in his neighboring county to the west. These historic sites fall under the purview of the Historic Preservation Trust of Berks County. This year, we treated the C-3 to a 12 exposure roll of Fujicolor 100. It's a testimony to the efficiency of this camera that we were able to get 16 frames on the roll! Unfortunately, not being used to such a seriously manual camera, we double exposed one frame and lost another after forgetting whether or not it was advanced and winding it again. Since it was in the 90s and humid, we pretty much terminated the effort after filling that short roll.

YOP also dragged along his Bronica SQ-A loaded with Fuji Acros B&W, and his Canon A80 digital. All were equipped with quick release fittings so it was pretty easy to swap stuff around, though likely any bystanders probably thought YOP was crazy -- and were probably correct. ;-) Copies of some of these, as well as non-Argus shots, will be found scattered through the Berks County Gallery and the Morlatton Village Gallery.

We paid a few extra bucks to get a CD from the Noritsu machine these were processed on at my local pro lab, so I had 3088 x 2048 scans to reduce from; that worked out well.
