These ("The Brick") were made from 1939 until the late 1960s. Ye Olde Photographer bought this one new in late 1957 or early 1958.
Ye Olde Photographer discovered the Argus Collectors Group in 2006 and learned that they began celebrating Argus Day in 2001. This lent itself to calling the date "Argust 1st" and the day was to occur at intervals one year+one day thereafter. Ye Olde Photographer has been participating in Argus Day since Argust 6th.
The ACG Argus Day galleries are on line and have moved around, with a few glitches in the process. As of 2012, the ACG site has a handy index to past results.
Hampered by bad weather on Argust 9th (2009), we finished off the roll of the new Kodak Ektar 100 on the following day. A small selection is added here on this page.
