Once again, it was Argus Day! There wasn't much advance publicity, but a dozen or more Argus owners decided to uphold the tradition. Ye Olde Photographer used a roll of Fujifilm Fujicolor 200 left over from the Argust 8th outing. The day featured temperatures around 95ºF, high humidity and variable cloud conditions not much better than hazy bright. The roll was processed and scanned at a local pro shop.
We began with a check on a replacement highway bridge project in Spring Mount (PA), something YOP has been tracking haphazardly for quite some time. From there we hit a few scenic shots at Knight Lake in Upper Perkiomen Valley Park, a Montgomery County recreation and conservation area. From there, a trek to Pottstown to deliver some framed work to an exhibition left us in a spot to record some old, adaptively reused buildings in the area of Riverfront Park and Montgomery County Community College West Campus. Heading eastward from there, we snapped a couple of historic houses in Collegeville and then proceeded to Cardinal Camera in Lansdale to drop the film off for processing. For a few dollars, a CD was acquired with scans sufficient for any likely use here.
The two pictures submitted to the Argus Day folks are among those HERE.
Meanwhile, here is a selection from the 25 shots on this roll. YOP had no blank frames, no double exposures and all 25 shots were reasonable exposures. The long ago acquaintance with this camera must be reawakening!
