Unmistakeably an Ukrainian ensemble... I've seen this type of group soooo many times over the years - and loved it! Remember that back then, twenty five years post-war, Norfolk County was full of Eastern European stock - my father included. Who couldn't name at least four or five farmers who were Poles, Ukrainian, Czech, and now, Slovak too, Hungarian, German? Just look at your classmates' names. I think this ensemble would have been very well received and, just maybe, caused a little European homesickness.
