African Childrens Choir

We recently had the honor of being asked if we would house two of the children from the African Childrens Choir. We did, and were blessed in so many ways getting to know the two young boys and their English chaparone, Malcolm Street. These children have to be among the most polite children in the world! They were so sweet and nice that we hated to see them go!

The children in this group are all from Uganda. The BBC said "their vibrant singing and dancing tells a story of hugely talented children filled with hope for the future." Twenty four of them are on a year long tour to raise awareness of the problems in Africa and to help raise money for other orphaned children. With them are eight adults who are a combination of mentors, teachers, bus drivers, sound engineers, and most importantly, friends to the children. You are all to be commended for your commitment, time, energy, and talents!

If you are fortunate enough to have this group visit your community, do yourself a favor and arrive early. You will want to be up front to enjoy one of the most electrifying performances you will ever see! These are very special young people!

wow there comming to st john plessington catholic high school i cant waight i hope the children from last year remember miss stott omg there commin to sing in our school how amazing i hope they raise enough money to go to a school lots of love your biggest fan claire
