Gök Medrese during restoration

The Gök Medrese (Blue Koran school) was being restored last time I went to Sivas before my most recent visit in June 2011. I understood work has been grounded to a halt due to a building contractor going bankrupt, the work was still not finished but progressing well. The Seljuk building was designed for vizier Fahr ed-Din Ali ben Hussein around 1271 by the Greek architect Kalojan. In the broad entrance area, right of the entrance, is a small mosque with fine tiles. There is a couple of iwans in the courtyard, and parts of a fountain that is to be constructed there also were lying ready to be used outside. I decided to keep the pictures I took earlier in the main gallery, and just show the results of the restoration in this one.
