These are some random pictures that I hope to give a proper place in this gallery (and the galleries within this one), I took them during a December 2007 visit, some in the main building, some in the "new" building.
Lower part of a monument to Porphyreus who lived at the end of the 5h, beginning of the 6th century AD, he was a very successful and revered charioteer, so popular 7 monuments were erected on the spiona of the hippodrome. The statues on top of the bases have been lost.
