One of several shots of the Sofa Pavilion. It is sometimes wrongly named the Pavilion of Kara Mustafa Paşa. It was constructed or renovated by Ahmet III and later redecorated in 1752 by Mahmut I in the Turkish rococo. From it one can see into the garden below, where sportive events and flowers could be viewed.
Only part of the Pavilion is open to the public, it contained a prayer room, a room for the consumption of cold beverages and so forth.
