This church ruin is in the Yayla neighbourhood. I suppose it was built in early 1900s when the city was captured by Bulgarians as Russian Army swept across Thrace. Many of the stone buildings including Kocahidir Ilkokulu and possibly the Museum were built by Bulgarians in that period. It is a shame it is in ruins...
