A viewer explained: Usual Ataturk monument: on the wall it says: "happy is the man, who can say i am a Turk", a nice word of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. According to constitution, the people who founded Republic of Turkey is called Türk. The writing under the statue says:
"Remember me".

The statue is at the side of the Artvin Valiği, the seat of provincial government.
