This is the complex (külliye) of Bayram Paşa. It dates from 1634, at that time Bayram Paşa was Kaymakam or Mayor of the city. He became Grand Vezir two years on and soon after died on Murat IV’s expedition against Baghdad (info: Strolling through Istanbul; Redhouse).
