The Ulu Camii or Great Mosque. A new building that - apart from the minaret - looks a lot like a modern cinema. And when one enters it has that aspect too: nice carpets, stairs leading up to the central room. It gives a feeling of luxury, and the ornamentation is of a high quality. It dates from 1997.

An ornament in a ceiling. The writing seems Kufic, a rather angular type of Arab script that looks great. But as a perceptive viewer wrote it is "just" latin script.
