Antakya Museum 7418

This is one of a series of pictures of a high quality Roman sarcophagus. It's of the "Sidemara type" (from a place near Konya). It's from the third century AD.

This is the left part of a long side, with people of various ages, and an older man and woman on either side. This is sought to represent on one hand "a farewell scene", on the other "the ages of man".
