This is another mosque, with decent decoration at the entrance and on one side a sarcophagus that has been restructured into a çesme, a place to drink water. On its top the decoration on the sarcophagus’ lid shows a man milking an animal and a shepherd.
The fountain is called ‘Lülecizade Kardeşler Çeşmesi’ (Fountain of the Lülecizade Brothers). It was installed in 1921, in memory of five brothers, according to the building inscription. The Roman sarcophagus was brought over from the nearby Harmancık Hill, where a large Roman necropolis has been excavated.
