On the right arch is the icon called in Greek " Ee Eptavematezousa", Virgin Marys' first seven steps as a child. At front of Her is Her mother St. Ann and behind her, Her Guardian Angel

On the left Arch is the meeting of St. Ann with her husband Ioackim who just had the vision from an angel to go to bed with his old wife and that they are going to have a daughter who will give birth to the Savior of the World. ( According the Gospel account).This icon in Greek is called 'E Sylleepsees tees Aghias Annees" which is celebrated on Dec. 9th and the Birth of Virgin Mary on September 9th, right after 9 months.
