On the left, there is the Sacrifice of Abraham. In order to test his faith, God asked him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. When Abraham complied and was about to kill his son, God intervened (see God's hand, to the left) and replaced the boy with a ram (see animal on the tree, to the left, below the hand).
