As I wrote in the introductory part I was on a cab-ride for the whole day, with two fellow travelers. After having driven through some canyon-like part of the country (I did not dare stop the car to take a picture then, yet, so no pictures) we saw some people at a pool of water, and a herd approaching. We all realized pictures should be made here, so we got out and took them. I had often seen herds in Turkey, but never emerging from as barren a country as this. It gave a sense of what desert must be like I never had before.
