Hello, I was not borned id Edirne but I am from there. My parents were borned there. My grandfather and grandmother still lives in a village in Edirne, Üyüklütatar Köy. Nowadays I can't find the chance to visit Edirne too much, but I had been to there in most of my childhood summers. And those were unforgettable since I had great time on huge fields of Edirne.
I went back to my childhood when I looked at the pictures here. They are really wonderful. I saw first time some places in Edirne in those pictures, although I am considered as from there. So I would like to thank to thank you Dick for your contribution to introducing Edirne to the world with this site. I can send you some photos that I myself took in Edirne (with the condition that you will publish them here... it is a joke).

My father was born in Edirne, but i've never been in Turkey. I love some day I'd go to that beautiful land.
