I think for people like you the best thing would have been to take the picture in the daytime. Lightening, in my experience, lasts a couple of miniseconds and is pretty hard to synchronize with a shutter. If you mean "flash" you don't know a thing about flash.

with only 2 seconds ligthening we could have seen anything on this photo

My mystery guest found another mistake -naming the building Kiz Kulesi- that I corrected. I sometimes paste a name from one picture to the next, and then wrongly name a place.
