On earlier visits I ignored the goings-on in the teahouses and (waterpipe-)smokers facilities and went mainly for the mosque. But in 2018 I drank some tea on a quiet morning, enjoying the company of a nice cat that remained next to me for the duration, then taking some pictures at the spot where the waterpipes or rather the charcoal for them was being prepared. The fire is as it were transplanted from one spot to the next without ever being re-ignited (well, probably in the morning). It takes about 20 minutes to get the raw charcoal bruning hot enought to be used.
