One of some pictures that are not of the mosque itself, but of an alley leading up to the garden. It is hardly known, but is very picturesque. At one end you get a curious glimpse of the Valens aqueduct. The area in its front is used as a garbage dump.
Another part of the aqueduct that is not the Bozdoğan Kemeri ('Aqueduct of the Grey Falcon'), which is a photogenic stretch of an aquaduct of hundreds of kilometers, stretching far outside the city.
