On the picture: The southwestern side of the Yıldırım Beyazıt Medresesi. This domed room, situated at the south end of the inner court, was a ‘dershane’ (classroom); it is 8,65 x 8,86 m large (inside dimensions).
This school / college was built in 1399, and repeatedly restored, last in 1948. Nowadays in use as a community clinic.
