Village rug from the Isparta region, wool on wool pile knotted carpet.
The stylized ‘Rose bushes’ in the yellow border express a hope for good luck and happiness, apart from being a reference to the main farming activity of Isparta's surroundings. The central panel is filled with vertically arranged ‘running water’-motifs, a symbol of fertility.
