There is an epigraph in the tomb which praises the greatness of Seyid Battal Gazi. The epigraph dates to 1464, which is also the date of restoration of the tomb. In the tomb there are coffins of Battal Gazi and King’s daughter Elenora. The coffin of Battal Gazi, whose length is 5,5 meters, refers to the grandeur of his personality. It is controversial whether Elenora was his darling or wife.
