Sundial, a smaller one in the background

The big one in front was found in a field near Çamlık köyü (10 km south of Ephesus)
and dates from the early 3th century A.D.
It is dedicated (inscription on the foot) to emperor Caracalla (212-217) and his mother Julia Domna.
