Transition from the European Copper Age to Bronze Age Europe occurs about a millennium later, between the late 4th and the late 3rd millennia BC.

Mound I in Can Hasan (15 km northeast of Karaman) was inhabited between 6th-4th millennium BC. Most of the finds are exhibited in the Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilisations.
