On a family trip to Turkey 1992-'93, we were invited to enjoy bringing in the '93 New Year with the wonderful people at Mujdat's. My father, who they called "Big Jim" , mother, sister and I experienced the "Greatness" and generous hospitality of their wonderful family. Unfortunatly my other sister who wasn't feeling up to going out, missed out that evening on all the good food, music, dancing and the memories that will be with me forever. To the people of Mujdat's, "Thank you" again for the kindness you showed our family all those years ago. Happy New Year 2010!
Mujdat's there on the right was where I learned to eat Tava, Eckmek bread with honey (forgive my spelling of the words) and had my picture put up on their wall! I miss the warm greetings of the owner coaxing you to come in and eat! I was stationed at Incirlik from 1993 to 1995 and enjoyed the people thoroughly! I only wish I knew how to make their cigar borek and eckmek!!
