From a note leaning against the sarcophagus: Sarcophagus of Sidonian king Tabnit.
As understood from the hieroglyphic inscription on it, this Egyptian style sarcophagus originally belonging to an Egyptian general Penephtah, who lived during the XXVIth dynasty (600-525 BC), was for a second time used for king Tabnit of Sidon.
