From the gymnasium a road leads to the stadium and the theatre at its end. A combinatio0n of these two is unique. Building started around 160 and proceeded into the middle of the third century AD. Again M. Apuleius Eurykles seems to have had a hand in some of the building works.

On the picture: Standing on top of the west entrance to the stadium, and looking straight into it. The rumble on the opposite side are (possibly) the ruins of the east entrance. In fact, archeologist do not agree on the location of the east entrance(s). At the height of the west entrance, the stadium was at its largest: 83 m (and being somewhat narrower at its northern and southern ends).
