The northwestern edge of Çavdarhisar municipality is inhabited by descendants of Balkan immigrants (late 19th – early 20th century). The old farmer’s houses have kept the traditional rural architecture of the former homeland, with stables and barns on the ground floor, and living quarters on the floor above.
