Wow, that's scary. Glad it turned out OK. Thanks for what you are doing for others.

What a story. It's frightening to think that this could happen to any of us.

Oh my gosh Don..I'm speechless. This was a terrible case of misidentification..and I'm so sorry you had to go through this. It takes quite a special person to turn this situation around, and I commend you for doing it.

crikey!

As a film user the irony for me is that I would not have that time stamp that would have saved me...I don't care how disturbed the hairderesser was by the robbery, the fact that she identified you (wrongly) and took away your freedom, without a thought, means she should take your punishment....perhaps then people would not be so free with others liberty. It's unbelievable!.. I can't imagine why you would be held for so long and that you had to raise that much money in bail!.. It's staggering!.. You are right to try to turn this into something positive.

I'm sorry Donald, it's great that you were able to turn this terrible incident into such positive event.

A dreadful experience and I admire you for your donation.

Dear Donald, I am so sorry that this has happened to you. It appears to be a world wide practice of blaming the innocent..... I expect that is an easy option, as the innocent are not guilty of the offence, they don't run when questioned.
This was a terrible trauma for you to face and will take you a little time to recover.
Very Best wishes,

What a complete stuffup. Glad that things worked out but you should be re-compensed for your lost photography time. Don't sue just send an invoice to the police dept as a consultant in the investigation.

Don - sorry to hear about the whole thing happening. But in the end it appears you will indeed make it positive !

You've got to be kidding Don.....what an ordeal. I'm so sorry you had to go through something like that, it sounds so ridiculous. You have a heart of gold to donate the proceeds from your gallery to the Innocence Project. I'm still interested in buying one of each of your postcards too... looking over your galleries again, I'm so impressed with your works. I really believe you should publish a book. (It would sell nationally!)
Keep up the great work and keep your camera rolling- you never know what life has in store for you around the next corner!~
