February 2

I thought about trying to not just take a photo and convert it to black and white, but (at least occasionally) find a some sort of other connection to black and white as well.
In this case, it's the classic .. what's black and white and read all over.

Nikon D70
1/60s f/4.5 at 70.0mm with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

An interesting study. I like it.

If that index ring finger curled just a bit more, you'd have something for the birds. :). Nice detail and the rightward focal point adds definite interest. I would have probably cropped this landscape, but I think the vertical framing was the right choice.

I just looked at your image entitled Dry Cleaning and understand why you would want to be more creative than just b/w.
You must have been in the gifted and talented class while in school.
very nice image here. It could be included in a hands gallery as well.
well done

Indeed, the icon for B&W shots...the newspaper. Well thought out and done. I like the DOF and the detail in the hand.

Good idea, and just enough DOF to make out some of the words, without being distracting.
