This is the first time I’ve seen this rainforest species in my (non-rainforest) backyard.
It was hyperactive! I took this photo with a shutter speed of 1/800 of a second and still it isn’t as sharp as I’d like.
The flowers are those of the Lime Berry (Micromelum minutum) which is doing a wonderful job attracting butterflies at the moment.
