Common Hoya (Hoya australis)

This climber is a plant of local bushland where it is found scrambling amongst rocks.
It is also known as Waxvine and Common Waxflower. It is a member of the milkweed family.
The flowers are sweetly scented, and the caterpillars of several “crow” butterflies ( http://www.pbase.com/donfranklin/image/149620338) feed on the leaves.
I grew this from a cutting provided by a friend.

It is fascinating to see this as a garden plant. I have one plant but it is a house plant, Sadly it has not flowered. V

Oh a Hoya - I have one indoors, but it's not blooming yet. Their blossoms are so lovely.
How wonderful to see them in the nature!
