Primrose Wattle (Acacia flavescens)

A small (occasionally medium) tree of poor soils in areas of moderate rainfall in eastern Queensland, from the tropical north almost south to the sub-tropical border with New South Wales.
Photographed in the Great Sandy National Park, Cooloola section, south-east Queensland.

As always, a fascinating view of exotic flora. The flowers on this tree are vaguely similar to those on the buttonbush shrub here, but only vaguely. V
