Peru Machu Picchu

From the Atacama Desert, Machu Picchu is a world away on the eastern, upper Amazonian slopes of the Andes.
Machu Picchu is an amazing construction hidden in the forest and set among (and on top of) precipitous peaks.
I took this photo in the morning before the main crowd of visitors arrived.
