Cooperstown - a drinking town with a baseball problem - click on image to view the gallery

The Village of Cooperstown is known for being the home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum and Doubleday Field. I love their downtown area which is filled with neat shops, restaurants, bars, etc. The local people we encountered were all very pleasant and I really wouldn't mind living there as a retiree except that my wife and I are both allergic to cold weather, snow, ice. etc. And if I did live there my alcohol consumption would go way up, which is not a good thing at my age. : )
