7701 Bird Road (SW 40th Street), Miami, Florida


The southbound exit off of the Palmetto Expressway is in the foreground. The Tropicaire Drive-In Theatre screen is visible in the background. Regular gas was 32.9, high test was 36.9 per gallon.

Your welcome, it sucks the direction Southflorida is headed. Even the Jets outdoors store on bird was demolished for another Bank. Not like we have enough banks popping up.

Thank you for the update Hugo. When it was the Brazilian steak place a few years ago the rotten SOB's had the nerve to cut down or butcher beautiful old Poinciana trees on the corner of the Palmetto exit ramp and Bird Road including a couple that were on state property along with other shade trees on the private property. The trees were never replaced because we have a joke of a tree protection ordinance in this county.

restaurant was demolished. No matter what restaurant they put up, it did poorly. so they demolished it this year.

Yes there is a Brazilian Rstaurant there now...no gas station no Drive in :(

I passed this spot twice last weekend. I think a Brazilian restaurant now stands on this site.
