There was a different chief in the latter half of 1967 when I was at Peanut Island and our chief spent most of that time in rehab too. Jim Bridges and I went through Cape May together and never ran into each other again until 2000 when we were at a party. My buddy Fred hired Jim to run a pump station for the SFWMD and we knew we had run into each other somewhere and figured it out. We went to Noo Yawk City together on the two liberty weekends. It's a small world.

I can't believe I found this picture online. I am the guy standing between David Soule, and Jim Bridges. My name is Clayton Murphy and David and I ran Aids to Navigation in the Ticwan at Lakeworth Inlet. The XO was Chief Randall and spent most of his time in rehab. BM1 Abney was really the main XO.

Thanks/ Clayton
