Mark Fidler retired in 2003 after 29 years as a police officer with the Miami Beach Police Department. He and his family then moved up to Ocala, FL, where the quality of life is significantly better. He and Eric used to shoot still photos and video every weekend at Miami International Airport until the 9/11 tragedy turned innocent photographers into suspected terrorists subject to constant hassles and threats of arrest by law enforcement agencies when there are no federal, state or county statutes or ordinances prohibiting such photography.
