Maybe John Gordon can shed some history...
I went to Morningside Elementary , Horace Mann
and Edison Sr. High with John...
We had Westside Nursery in Liberty City on N.W.
79 St. Lois Meyer my mom , taught at Edison for 22 years and
created a University fast Track program for arriving
Eager Haitian students during heyday of the Haitian migration...

At lunch time Mike would feed the fish carcasses to the pelicans. It was as if there was a riot in the parrot house. The pelicans would go wild competing for each piece of fish that Mike tossed into the water.

We used to go there for lunch in the 90's. The best- broiled scallops and key lime pie was amazing! Went back a couple of years ago and was gone. Anyone know what happened?
Also Fish Peddler on Biscayne same family owned also I believe-gone also.. great happy hours AFTER work!! Grouper fingers were to die for. Those were the days!
