A press information sheet on the back of this photo states: "A 'tent city' which sprang up to house workers constructing more substantial buildings." The press information and photo was issued in 1950 for an article about Coral Gables' 25th Anniversary of incorporating as a city in Dade County and an image of the press information is in the next image of this gallery.
