To answer to Ron who said " According to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology map, Quebec is at the extreme northen edge of this bird's range, and is there only in the summer. I wonder how common it is up there." The Coopers Hawk is not so widespread here but there's a good population here and there. This picture have been taken in a urban park , the Montreal Botanical Garden , where the birds are completely free. Since 5 or 6 year , there's a familly who's nesting in the MBG. These juveniles are so funny to observe in their learning :) and they're not affraid by our presence :O This year, they're 5 young birds Thanks for your comment ! Dom :)
